Working with Troy and Alex was easy. They set a clear expectation and delivered. I had no idea what color to re stain my damaged floor. Once they started worked with the natural color of the floor, Troy shared the walnut was beautiful. We ended up putting a clear coat on the floor. I can’t get over this wood. It’s truly beautiful! The guys were great! I wish they did more home renovation so I could hire them again.

I used Refinish San Diego to redo my wood floors and they also did installation in an office. I was very pleased with the outcome.I highly recommend them for your floor refinishing and installation needs.

Troy has refinished my floors in 2 separate homes that I’ve lived in the last 11 years. He’s very knowledgeable and quite good at his trade. I’m very happy with the work he’s done at both of my homes and I’m sure you will be too!

The damage from years of raising kids and pets was all erased in just a few days. Troy was even able to come back last year and re-do a section in our kitchen where something has stained the floor in a highly visible spot. It's now been a couple of years, and our floors still look great. Great experience, great work. I highly recommend Refinish San Diego.

I highly recommend the company Refinish San Diego! They have completed multiple flooring projects involving repairs and refinishing and every job has come out better than I could have imagined. One job we hired them for to repair water damaged hardwood; the repairs were feathered in perfectly and the floors sanded and stained to match the existing floors so nicely. At another job, they installed hardwood floors in an old home to replace damaged flooring at the entry and once they were finished the replacement section matched the other flooring so well, it was impressive. At another home they sanded and stained the old hardwood and brought the tired worn-out floors back to life! Also, working with Troy is refreshing, he is friendly and honest. Overall working with Refinish San Diego is a complete joy, from the craftsmanship and expertise to trustworthiness, they put my mind at ease because they also stay on schedule and on budget. Troy and his team are true professionals. I have used them on numerous occasions both to refinish existing hardwood floors, refurbish old floors that were covered for decades, and do significant repairs on severely damaged wood floors that had major repairs. During each 5 different projects they have worked on they have done an excellent job always finishing on time and on budget. The one time there was added cost it was communicated clearly and explained In detail. I can’t recommend Refinish San Diego enough and will continue to use them in the future

Refinish San Diego did a phenomenal job restoring our wood floors to their original beauty. There was a severely distressed section that I was certain would have to be replaced but it was miraculously restored to the point that no one would ever know how awful it looked. They also carefully applied sealer to a large wood island. Previously I had to keep it covered in order to protect it, but once sealed I can safely expose it and enjoy how beautiful it is. They started on time and finished sooner than anticipated. Very professional, great communication. I would recommend them to anyone.

We have a 130-year-old house that has seen many different types of flooring on the upper level, from original wood, glued down linoleum and layers of carpet. We approached Troy with potentially refinishing the original Douglas Fir planking. He was confident that it would result in a beautiful finish product. We knew there were some areas that had been damaged in the past that would need to be replaced. Troy and his team were able to replace the damaged areas, which were more extensive than originally anticipated and blend in new wood with the old. Their pricing was very reasonable even with the number of changes we encountered and the results were remarkable. We not only appreciate the finish product, but we also appreciate Troys professionalism, honesty and punctuality. We highly recommend using Troy for any of your projects. You will not be disappointed.

I recently had my hardwood floors deep cleaned by Troy Peters at Refinish San Diego, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My floors look absolutely brand new—it’s incredible. I’m so glad he recommended this service instead of going through the hassle and more expensive route of sanding and refinishing. Troy was professional, polite, and right on time. He was extremely thorough and took great care while working around all of my furniture. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free, and the quality of the work truly exceeded my expectations. He’ll be back in a few weeks to replace some carpeted rooms with hardwood. Highly recommend—fabulous job!

I hired Refinish San Diego to install new hardwood floors. My floors look amazing! I was especially impressed with the precise cutting they did to butt the boards up against my tile perfectly. Also I do not like transition strips and to escape them they had to shim up the boards in doorways and areas when my tile was higher and grind down my concrete slab in places where the boards would have been higher. My fan was accidentally damaged by a worker and I was impressed by their professionalism in that they immediately offered to replace the fan without any conflict. I was very pleased with their work and have already signed up for my next job with them.

Troy Floors are experts with wood floors . Not only did they refinish our floors they worked magic on them and completely upgraded our home. Truly the BEST !

My wood stairs has some nasty sticky adhesive after I removes some protective covers I put on them a few years ago. I tried everything to remove the adhesive residue and it looked hopeless. I consulted some flooring companies and they were quoting exorbitant amounts without guaranteeing anything. Fortunately I came across Troy who was very confident that he could fix the stairs for a reasonable price. He did an amazing job to not only get rid of the adhesive but also polish the stairs like new. Highly, highly recommend Troy for wood flooring needs.

I am a Catholic sister and live in a convent with several nuns. Our chapel was desperately in need of help. An amazing benefactor introduced us to Troy who installed much -needed new flooring. He responded quickly and always arrived when he said he would. The new floor is gorgeous and seems to have brought new life to this sacred space. Based on our experience, I recommend his work highly.
